Public Service Announcement
"Eye Health Education for Chinese Americans" is geared towards San Francisco’s large aging Chinese American population, their families and their caregivers. Twenty percent (20%) of San Francisco’s 750,000+ residents are of Chinese decent. Developed for a lay audience, this event will provide education and vision screenings, as well as knowledge about additional services and organizational resources that are available to help avert vision impairment and potentially blinding eye problems. PBNC will also administer a survey as part of the event to allow measurement of the Chinese community’s beliefs and history on preventive eye care.
